Katy Santos
Katy is a German/Chilean Singer-Songwriter, musician and producer offering a musical mix of Cumbia, Urban Latin music, electronic rock beats, mixed up with Latin songwriter tunes. She was born in Germany and raised in Chile before she decided to move back to Germany to push her musical career. Her story is the path of an independent musician with a self made start. In 2017 she decided to build her own music studio and produced her first album “Amanecer”, which has been released 2019 together with her first single and music video release “Amanecer”. The music is about down-to earth texts, critical philosophy and emotional draught combined with the unmistakable pop & folk sound from Latin America.But today Katy is probably traveling around the world to self-promote her artistic work, giving live performances in Germany, Chile, Argentina, United States and even in Egypt. This travel experience gave her the idea to start a musical travel Vlog on YouTube called the 'Hotel Sessions', where she records live performances in her hotel rooms, combining them with images of the cities and locations she is visiting.
